i have an english teacher who also knows her stuff in computers, and so we decided this monday, we'd begin to dabble in some tech related subjects on top of our usual discussions about books and literature. as i am with almost anything that excites me, i decided to know what it was i would be learning before the class began and remembered as a thirteen year old that i had a site on neocities regarding something else that had interested me at the time. so i took the very simple coding i already had and utilized it for this site, though with certain changes to suit the change in aesthetic sensibilities.
as i was doing so, i realized, well, it's not that i peruse social media anyways for personal reasons regarding my paranoia. i like about a site is that i can host almost anything and everything (as long as their is space for it, of course, and for that reason, if i ever decide to upload any videos, it will be on youtube). there isn't a necessity to have a platform to host images, a platform to host musings, and a separate one to host the longer musings. as i was working on the site, i realized how obvious of a decision it was for me to have a site. it's quiet too. i like my quiet. and really, i was enjoying myself too much.
--the class i'll be having doesn't start until tomorrow.
